This Comprehensive Plan for the Town of River Bend aims to provide a framework for supporting a resilient, self-sustaining community by outlining goals and strategies for improving livability and desirability, encouraging growth opportunities, and maintaining essential character and resources. The plan prioritizes preserving small-town charm, ensuring coordinated growth, protecting natural features and open spaces, supporting business development, providing high-quality recreational facilities, and maintaining consistent regulations to foster a safe, attractive, and economically vibrant waterfront and golfing community for all ages.

The meeting included an update on the completed Mulberry drainage project and the status of T-shirt procurement. A reminder was provided regarding the upcoming Spring clean-up and Arbor Day celebration. Additionally, the board reviewed the completed repairs for a broken drain line and cut cable on Plantation Drive, heard a report from the Councilman, and reviewed volunteer hours contributed by members.

The board reviewed and recommended the Comprehensive Plan draft to the Town Council. Additionally, the board considered a Special Use Permit for a wireless communications tower, eventually tabling the discussion to allow for further site investigation and information gathering.
