Following the hearing, the commission voted to recommend that the Village Board grant approval of the amended plat, including specific exceptions from residential zoning district bulk and setback regulations and permanent sign standards.

The meeting included the approval of code amendments concerning building regulations and floodplain management, as well as authorization for operating bills and payroll. The Village Manager announced the launch of SeeClickFix for reporting non-emergency concerns. Committee reports provided updates on the road bond referendum, building inspections, roadway patching projects, public safety activities, water system maintenance, and financial performance. A resolution to purchase cardiac monitors was postponed, while a resolution authorizing emergency water system repairs was approved. The board also approved an ordinance abating a portion of taxes for debt service and reviewed updates regarding the 31st Street Corridor Transportation Plan and public property revitalization programs.

The Commission reviewed and approved the Findings of Fact for Zoning Case #25-0025 regarding Plymouth Place, Inc. Furthermore, the Commission granted site plan approval to La Grange School District 102 for the proposed building additions, parking reconfigurations, bicycle parking capacity expansion, and stormwater management improvements at Park Junior High School.

The committee reviewed a preliminary visioning presentation for the 31st Street Corridor Transportation Plan, which focused on goals such as enhancing pedestrian and traffic safety, promoting local business development, and improving walkability. Additionally, the committee received an update regarding the pedestrian lighting project for the Village Market, involving project progress reviews and detailed discussions.
