The Work Session covered several key discussion items. The school board meeting included a discussion regarding the renewal of Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) #18-082 for the Canvas Learning Management Software (LMS). The recommendation was to approve the renewal for use by all district sites. The Canvas software offers features such as accessibility, instructional continuity, enriched lessons, student collaboration tools, rubrics, modules, calendars, schedules, quizzes, syllabi, analytics, and SpeedGrader to assist district staff in education and online learning. The renewal term is set from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with an annual support and maintenance fee, and additional funds were recommended for additional services, training, programming, or support.
