The board approved a winter maintenance agreement with Allegheny County and a lease amendment for the police department.

The meeting included a presentation of the 2023/2024 Audit for the Avonworth Municipal Authority, discussions on improvements to Avonworth Community Park, and upcoming holiday events. The treasurer's report for August was reviewed, and invoices due for payment were approved. Reports were given on police activity, fire incidents, and MS4 activities. The board also discussed the soccer field drainage project, paving in the Sewickley Crossing community, and the construction of a new salt shed. Resolutions were approved for a grant request for the construction of an EMS facility, grant funding for the Green Valley Park Phase 1A, and the purchase of the Green Valley property. The 2026 MMO for both the Uniform and Non-Uniform Pension Plans was also reviewed.

The meeting included discussion and approval of Resolution No. 1-25 for condemnation of certain properties on LeGrogan Drive for necessary sewer work. The Engineer's Report included dye testing at the LeGrogan subject area, accounting of public sanitary sewer connections, inspections for well and deduct meter installations, examination of the Sewickley Hills sewage pump station, and preparation of an electric usage/sewage flow compilation for Allegheny County Department of Sustainability.

The meeting included a request for a monetary donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The board discussed the treasurer's report, invoices due for payment, police summary, fire report, MS4 report, planning commission updates, public works projects including the upper park project, and recreation report. New business included Resolution No. 22-25 for a sewage facilities planning module for a proposed Chipotle, the purchase agreement for the Green Valley property, and the use of liquid fuel funds to pave roadways within the Sewickley Crossing plan.

The meeting included discussion of Resolution No. 17-21, appointing Michael Basista to the Ohio Township Sanitary Authority, Resolution No. 18-21, authorizing an application to the PA Municipal Assistance Program for the joint comprehensive plan between Ohio Township and Franklin Park, Resolution No. 19-21, a concurring resolution for a grant application through the RAAC for park renovations, and Resolution No. 20-21, a concurring resolution for an additional grant application through the RAAC for pollutant reduction plan implementation. Also discussed was pay request #1 from Jet Jack for work on the 2021 Stormwater Improvements, and the Sewickley Hills Police Service Contract.
