The committee discussed the tree planting in the Newburg park and the completion of land preservation for property along Hanoverville road adjacent to Hahns Meadow. The committee will begin reviewing the current evaluation forms used in Farmland preservation and Open space analysis and recommends a review or revision to enhance the process.

The planning commission discussed several land development and subdivision plans. These included the Lehigh Valley East 17 Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan, the Vera Cruz Lot Line Adjustment Plan, and the Phillip Davis Final Subdivision Plan. The commission also reviewed the Faust Family Limited Partnership No. 6 Conditional Use application and the First Park 33 Lot 3A Phase II Conditional Use and Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan. Additionally, the LVTC II Owner, LLC & LIT Associates, LLC Conditional Use application was discussed, focusing on traffic concerns and proposed restrictions.

The meeting covered the organization of the Board of Supervisors, including the election and appointment of positions such as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Zoning Officer. It also involved the designation of depositories for Township funds, establishment of the Treasurer's Bond, adoption of the 2020 Fee Schedule, and appointment of delegates to various boards and conventions, including the Colonial Regional Police Commission and the Nazareth Area Council of Government. Furthermore, the meeting addressed authorizations for attending the PSATS Convention and County Convention, compensation and reimbursement rates, approval of the holiday schedule, and the scheduling of Township Wide Special Events. Discussions also covered the appointment of consultants, including legal counsel and the Township Engineer, and appointments to miscellaneous boards such as the Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board.

The agenda includes reports on finances and open space preservation, as well as discussions on parks and recreation, subdivision and land development (specifically, a Kelly Nissan improvements agreement), Hanoverville Road improvements, and various other topics. The board will consider appointments, ordinances related to building and facility use, watershed protection, and property tax penalties. Agreements regarding traffic signal maintenance and a multi-municipal comprehensive plan will also be addressed. Finally, the payment of bills will be reviewed.

The Zoning Hearing Board reviewed and approved minutes from previous meetings. A hearing was held regarding an appeal of an enforcement notice for damage to a barn. Testimony was given by the applicant, the zoning officer, a structural engineer, and a restoration contractor. The board considered the extent of the damage, the timeline for repairs, and the potential safety hazard. The board ultimately sustained the zoning officer's enforcement notice and denied the appeal.
