The meeting included the presentation and approval of the 2019/2020 Garbage Budget, which incorporated a 3% increase as per the contract. Additionally, the 2019-2020 General Fund Budget was presented and approved. An amendment was made to the Clerk's name on the Budget meeting Agenda.

The meeting included discussions on gravel for the cemetery, a resolution for a voting machine, and the purchasing of supplies for the township by officials. There was also a discussion on the procedure for paying bills, which will be revisited. The board approved allowing Jesse Robinson to meet with Jason Bitzer for assistance in zoning ordinance. Budget amendments were proposed and approved, including an increase for election worker/contract labor. The board went into and out of a closed session for legal opinions on issues.

The meeting included discussions on township liability insurance, upcoming road and bridge millage renewal proposals, and a proposal from Elkland Township Fire Department for pursuing unpaid fire runs. The board also discussed a bill for a fire at a township resident's home. Additionally, there were updates on the Planning Commission's public hearing on the master plan, permission was requested to purchase supplies, and bids were received for gravel. Budget amendments were proposed for cemetery operating expenses and planning and zoning.

The Novesta Township regular monthly meeting included discussions and actions on several key issues. The board approved agenda items with addendums including property purchase, PA 116 applications, purchase of supplies for posting board, posting resolution, election commission meeting date, and budget amendments. A resolution was approved for the partial termination of PA agreement number 79-506381-123135 to allow an Amish community to build a school on a purchased parcel. The board also scheduled the July Board of Review, approved a resolution to purchase a 10-acre parcel of land, approved PA 116 applications from Littleson Farms and Keith Little, and designated the Novesta Township Cemetery as the official posting location. Budget amendments were also approved, along with an insurance payment.

The special meeting was convened to designate official signatories for the township for real estate matters. A resolution was adopted, naming the Supervisor's office (Chad Daniels) and the Clerk's office (Joann Peters) as authorized signatories for any real estate transactions.
