The Board of Trustees held a special meeting and retreat to review several informational topics. Key agenda items included a legislative update, an update regarding technology security and artificial intelligence, a board self-evaluation, a review of the governance manual, and presidential communications and updates. No formal action was taken on these items during the session.

The Board meeting included a presentation from the Chief Academic Officer regarding a department chair and academics update. The Board accepted several monetary donations intended for Skip's Pantry, the Student Experience Fund, and the Challenger Learning Center/STEM Fest 2026. Additionally, the Board approved a resolution for the Distinguished Faculty Award.

The meeting included an overview and consideration of the 2025-2026 budget revision and the establishment of a date for a public hearing on the 2026-2027 proposed budget. The Board accepted various donations and approved a millage renewal resolution to be placed on the upcoming primary election ballot. Additionally, a resolution was adopted to recognize Community College Month.
