The superintendent's agenda included discussions on board policy, personnel matters, overnight travel for the Massillon Tiger Track & Field Team, MCS customer service administrative guidelines, out-of-state and overnight student organization competition travel, staff professional development out-of-state travel, and the approval of student handbooks and grading guidelines for WHS and MIS/MJHS, as well as the MJHS course of study.

The Massillon City School District's 2018-2021 Ohio Improvement Process (OIP) District Action Plan focuses on improving student achievement and growth on state and local assessments.
