The Organization Meeting agenda included the nomination and election of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors. A significant portion of the meeting involved approving a detailed Consent Agenda for 2026 appointments and reappointments for various township roles, including Township Manager, Secretary, Treasurer, Zoning & Codes Enforcement Officer, Solicitor appointments for different boards, and Engineering services. The meeting also addressed the certification of qualified volunteers for the Volunteer Fire Company Service Tax Credit, the bonding amounts for the Manager and Treasurer, and reviewed business regarding terms expiring on the Planning Commission, Zoning Hearing Board, Vacancy Board, and Municipal Authority, including candidate consideration for reappointment and new appointments.

Furthermore, the Board addressed the adoption of the IRS Mileage Reimbursement rate effective January 1, 2026, established per diem rates for convention attendance, and set expenses for various commissions and boards. Discussions also covered bond amounts for the Manager and Treasurer, and consideration of candidates for open positions on the Zoning Hearing Board and Vacancy Board.

The Recreation Advisory Committee meeting included a finance report, updates on recreation programs with strong participation, and grant opportunities for securing funding for a Master Plan. The committee is working on establishing a school contact for guidance on playground equipment. There was a suggestion to establish a rule sheet and map for the Disc Golf Course, as well as public interest in bringing back the yard sale and adding a craft show.

The Recreation Advisory Council meeting included discussions on the finance report, supervisors' report, and programs. The council decided to purchase a new sandwich board with additional letters. The council also discussed county grant funds for park improvements, including playground equipment and the development of a master plan. Options for storing park equipment on-site were reviewed, including a dedicated space in the maintenance shed and the possibility of a dedicated shed for long-term use. The council also agreed to research a suitable first aid kit for the shed.

The draft budget includes income from various sources such as property taxes, realty transfer tax, earned income taxes, licenses and permits, fines and forfeits, interest income, grants, and intergovernmental revenue. It also covers charges for services, parks and recreation fees, miscellaneous income, and interfund transfers. Expenditures include allocations for elected officials, financial administration, tax collection, solicitor/legal services, office personnel, insurance/payroll, engineer services, general government expenses, planning/zoning, fire/EMS, SEO/WPMA, public works, signs/roads/bridges, and parks & recreation.
