The board meeting covered several key administrative and operational items. The board reviewed and accepted the Instructional Program compliance report and progress data regarding Physical and Mental Health. Significant focus was placed on personnel actions, including various hires, resignations, and a retirement. Additionally, the board approved the preliminary budget, WIAA membership renewal, and the discontinuation of membership in the CESA 10 Distance Learning network. Policies regarding student electronic device usage, school wellness, staff solicitations, and procurement were reviewed for updates, and the 2026-2027 Board Annual Work Plan was formally adopted.

The meeting focused on the organization of the board, including the election of officers for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Clerk. Appointments were made for the Secretary to the Board, District Elections Clerk, committee representatives, and delegates to the WASB and CESA 10 Board of Control. The board also authorized the release of funds for time-sensitive payables, designated district depositories, established meeting dates for regular monthly sessions, designated official posting locations for meeting notices, and authorized the use of electronic signatures.
