The Board of Education reviewed various reserve funds, including Workers Compensation, Tax Certiorari, Reserve for Repairs, ERS -- Retirement System Reserve, TRS -- Retirement System Reserve, Capital Reserve, Employee Benefits Accrued Liability (EBALR) Reserve, and Liability Reserve. The discussions included the purpose of each reserve, dates established, activity, maximum amount and term, and proposed balances.

The Watkins Glen Central School District's strategic plan, spanning from July 2024 to June 2029, centers around five priority areas: fostering a culture of belonging, providing staff support and professional development, ensuring student achievement, expanding student opportunities, and enhancing teaching and learning.
