The Board of Trustees convened a special meeting to consider and pass an order calling for a bond election within the Rosebud-Lott Independent School District. The order makes provisions for the conduct and notice of the election. The board addressed the necessity of holding an election for specific propositions, including the issuance of bonds for school buildings, transportation, and fieldhouse renovations, as well as refunding previously issued maintenance tax obligations. The order specifies the election date, propositions, ballot language, voter qualifications, election precincts, voting locations, and early voting details. It also covers the appointment of election officers, notice of the election, and conduct of the election in compliance with the Texas Election Code and the Voting Rights Act.

The meeting included discussion of the District Multi-Hazard Emergency Operations Plan, specifically the Cybersecurity Annex, and updates on the SAFE Grant Cycle, including the use of funds for fencing, radios, and silent panic alert buttons. The committee discussed the District Vulnerability Assessment (DVA) and the new Sentinel overview from TEA, which replaces the Intruder Detection Audit dashboard. There was no update on the Guardian program. The committee is seeking additional parents and someone from the Falls County Sheriff's office to fulfill roles on the committee in the coming year.

The Guardian Program was updated, including information about vests for all Guardians. A closed meeting covered safety and security audit recommendations, HB3 Resolution, internal monthly safety meetings, student entry procedures, code of conduct policies, and discussions on parking spots, Guardian escorts, rekeying policy, and other safety measures.
