The board approved several proclamations including those for National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week, the 150th anniversary of First Baptist Church in Clarion, and National Library Week. Additionally, they granted letters of support for library and transportation projects, authorized a grant contribution for the airport authority, and entered into multiple facility use and maintenance contracts. The board also approved various IT service contracts, engineering service agreements, property tax claim bids, and several personnel actions including new hires and rehires. Finally, the board approved a series of budget transfers and the central accounting report.

The board reviewed various reports including the prison revenue account, cost management, drug and alcohol programs, and the intermediate punishment grant. Key actions included the decision to not move forward with a pilot program from P82 Consulting Services, the approval of personnel items, and the recommendation to enter into a county assistance agreement for an acting warden. The board also approved an amendment to a vending agreement for FCC compliance and recommended a medical service agreement with Independence Health System pending cost approval. Additionally, the warden’s report covering fiscal, population, and security analyses was reviewed and approved. An executive session was held to discuss a personnel matter.
