The Board heard a request from a citizen to reconsider a deemed denied real estate abatement application, during which the individual presented documentation for review. Additionally, the Board scheduled the subsequent meeting and entered into executive session to process statutory abatements and exemptions.

The Select Board agenda includes appointments and re-appointments for various committees and town positions, including the Master Plan Implementation Committee, Board of Registrars, special police officers, traffic controllers, and agents to the Select Board. Civic announcements regarding town events are scheduled. Other business items include a contract change order for the Safe Streets for All grant, approval of a road resurfacing contract, and a public safety discussion concerning town trees.

The Select Board discussed the utilization of Chapter 90 funds for the replacement of a dump body on a Department of Public Works vehicle. They continued discussions regarding the organizational structure of the Fire Department and Emergency Management. The board reviewed a complaint concerning the Town Clerk's process for issuing Business Certificates and considered a request to add additional boards to the Special Municipal Employee designation. Furthermore, a field access agreement for timber harvesting on town property was reviewed.

The Selectboard held several meetings to discuss key topics, including a request to use Chapter 90 Fair Share funds for a stainless steel dump body replacement for the Department of Public Works, a continuation of discussions regarding Fire Department and Emergency Management Director operations, and a request concerning Special Municipal Employee designations for town board members. Additionally, the board addressed complaints regarding Business Certificate issuance procedures, accepted various donations and appointments, discussed town warrant articles for the Spring Annual Town Meeting, and approved the procurement method for the High School MSBA construction project. The board also recognized police promotions and honored a long-serving community member.

The Board reviewed and processed various motor vehicle excise abatement applications for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 levies, signing lists for approved abatements and issuing denial letters where appropriate. Additionally, the Board reviewed and denied a fiscal year 2024 boat excise abatement application, approved a personal exemption application under clause 17D, and reviewed a real estate abatement application that was previously deemed denied.
