The meeting included discussions on continuing education paths within the school district, the district's financial status with CDs, and updates on demolition bids and tennis court completion. The Superintendent reported on spring activities, UIL Academic team success, track and tennis achievements, and kindergarten enrollment. The board also discussed the TASB Spring Workshop, CMAR guidance for entryway projects, the upcoming board election, and the principal's position. An executive session was held.

The board meeting included an audit report presentation, which indicated no weaknesses, deficiencies, or non-compliance, but noted excess expenditures due to lease agreements. There was discussion in the open forum regarding protocols for coaches entering locker rooms and concerns about bullying prevention. The Superintendent reported on upcoming events, a meeting with MCC to discuss HB8 and the FAST program, a legislative update, and renovations to the high school entryway. Policy Update #122 was approved. The board also discussed McLennan and Coryell County Appraisal District matters.

The board meeting addressed property interests, potential use of banked days, concerns about the usage of school baseball/softball fields and batting cages by select teams and individuals, and a presentation of the TAPR accountability report. The superintendent reported on current enrollment, progress on tennis court construction, and the status of demolition bids. The board also discussed developing a plan for athletic concessions for the upcoming school year and accepted resignations during an executive session. The agenda included discussion on property purchase and the 2024-2025 salary schedule.

The special session of the Crawford Independent School District Board of Trustees involved an executive session, followed by a return to open session where the board approved the 2024-2025 salary schedules as amended.

The meeting included an architect's report with an update on construction handouts. The report reminded everyone that the demo cost was included in every option above the base price. The most critical need for classroom space right now is at the elementary, however, as larger grades move up the need for space at the middle school will increase. Options for increasing space at the elementary consist of adding classrooms on the primary end of the building, or renovating the current gym and constructing a new activities center. At the middle school, the goal will be to add a corridor and two classrooms with the ability to add additional classrooms later if necessary.
