This strategic plan, covering 2025-2030, aims to prepare learners, employees, the College, and the community for growth and success. It is structured around four strategic directions: Learners (an excellent place of learning), Employees (an excellent place to work), Community (an excellent community partner), and Institution (an excellent steward of public trust). Key commitments include 'Lead with Yes' by removing barriers and empowering learners, 'One College' to foster collaboration, and 'Holistic Wellbeing' to prioritize care and balance.

The 2022-2025 Strategic Plan for Carteret Community College outlines five strategic directions: 1. Culture of Service: Enhancing services based on stakeholder input and providing comprehensive student support; 2. Equitable Access & Success: Promoting diversity, removing access barriers, and connecting students with support services; 3. Program Evaluation & Alignment: Evaluating, developing, and maintaining programs leading to successful transfer or employment; 4. Culture of Evidence: Building a data-informed approach to problem-solving; and 5. Robust Partnerships: Developing strong collaborations with schools and employers to promote education and workforce development. The overarching goal is to serve and empower students and the community through high-quality education, workforce training, and lifelong enrichment in an innovative and inclusive learning environment.
