The budget hearing was convened to approve the 2025 levy for the Town of LaGrange. The proposed 2026 budget was reviewed line item by line item, culminating in a motion to accept the 2025 payable in 2026 tax levy. Following the budget hearing, a special session of the Town Board was called to approve the proposed 2026 budget.

The Town Board discussed various topics including a request for a rezone, the water patrol agreement with the Lauderdale Lakes Lake Management District, and a request for an additional lot line adjustment. They also discussed and acted on aerator permit requests. A final decision was made on how to proceed with the Pleasant Lake drain, and approval was given for bills properly submitted for payment.

The Town of Lagrange is holding a public hearing on the proposed 2026 budget. The board also discussed a new easement to be drafted for the drain pipe located on the Kessel property.
