The Schuylkill County Airport Authority's mission is to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused aviation services, while maintaining and enhancing airport facilities, promoting economic growth, and fostering a collaborative environment. Key strategic areas include ensuring a safe and secure environment, providing high-quality services, developing modern facilities, supporting economic development, promoting environmental sustainability, and collaborating with partners. The primary goal is to achieve financial self-sufficiency, with immediate priorities focused on infrastructure improvements such as resurfacing the main runway, rehabilitating the main apron, upgrading the terminal building, developing additional hangar space, expanding infrastructure, extending the taxiway, and acquiring a new snowplow.
