Significant discussions were held regarding Short-Term Rental regulations, specifically defining rental periods, establishing registration and inspection requirements, setting off-street parking standards, and permitting the use of Accessory Dwelling Units as short-term rentals. Additionally, the Board reviewed draft updates for Accessory Dwelling Unit bylaws and coordinated on upcoming meetings with the Select Board.

The 2026 Lanesborough Open Space and Recreation Plan outlines a blueprint for the town's conservation and recreation efforts over the next decade. It focuses on three overarching goals: creating a diverse and accessible park system while preserving natural resources; enhancing the positive economic impact of outdoor recreation; and safeguarding the community's rural character, scenic vistas, agricultural land, and natural resources for future generations. Key priorities include protecting Pontoosuc Lake, expanding William Laston Memorial Park, increasing accessibility to outdoor spaces, fostering collaborative regional relationships, supporting agricultural operators, advancing tree and forest management, mitigating climate change impacts, and reducing sprawl development.

The Board of Health discussed the addition of a new member to the board.
