The plan also defines the responsibilities of major participants such as the MN DNR, Metropolitan Council, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and local water entities, emphasizing coordination, monitoring, conservation, and emergency management.

The strategic plan for Lincoln Pipestone Rural Water (LPRW) aims to provide clean, safe, and affordable water for every generation, serving as a roadmap to align investments, operations, and priorities for resilience and effectiveness.
