The Commission reviewed the hangar occupancy and rental status for May, noting full occupancy. Claims for April were reviewed and approved. The Airport Manager provided a report covering upcoming summer airport projects such as mowing operations and hangar improvements. Additionally, an update was provided regarding the status of an Iowa DOT funding application for fuel tank removal and site preparation. The Commission was also briefed on an upcoming Young Eagles event.

The meeting featured a comprehensive librarian's report covering circulation statistics, public computer and wireless usage, and program participation data. Outreach efforts were discussed, including school visits and homebound delivery services. The board reviewed a new media strategy, including the launch of a library Instagram account. Financial actions included the approval of the monthly financial report, the city trust financial report, and the payment of outstanding bills. The board also adopted the new Library of Things Policy and approved proposed staff wages for the upcoming fiscal year.
