This workshop meeting focused on Delray Beach Public Schools, including programming, performance data, and implications. Discussions included choice and career programming, school data (grades, kindergarten readiness, third-grade reading scores, learning gains, and graduation rates), school district curriculum improvements, and the city's relationship with the school district. The meeting also covered the school district's five-year plan, facility renewal projects, and out-of-school providers offering after-school and summer learning opportunities. Finally, the meeting addressed the education board ordinance, proposing changes to its composition and qualifications of members.
