The board recognized Mr. Dalton Powell's report on the first payment to Jerry's Excavation for the East Salt Branch Sanitary Sewer Extension Project. Mr. Jared Crisp reported on the natural gas system modeling and analysis completed by Small Arrow Engineering, with a report and recommendations scheduled for the next meeting. A Budget Committee selection for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 was also planned for the next agenda. The board discussed a proposed sewer extension and underground electric service request from All In Fitness, approving a low quote for the sanitary sewer extension. Six employees are attending a virtual Water and Wastewater Certification Class. Mrs. Teri Hill reported on a Supervisors Luncheon focusing on supervisor responsibilities. Additionally, claims were approved for payment.

The board discussed the city's ongoing discussions with developers and retailers, updates on the new City of Pryor Creek Emergency Center, and the TSET Grant awarded to Pryor Main Street. An Engineering Assessment Report on the Municipal Utility Board's Natural Gas Distribution System was presented. The board also received a report on the Wastewater Treatment Plant, including preparations for bidding on enhancements to the Chlorine Contact Basin and a plan to standardize lift station pumps. The re-appointment of Mr. Garry J. Harris to a new Five-Year Term was approved. Additionally, the board discussed forming a collective study group for municipal natural gas systems, preparations for surplus equipment, and the acceptance of Mrs. Hannah Moore into the Oklahoma Municipal Human Resource Professionals Front-Line Leader Academy. The board approved Mr. Jared Crisp to attend the Annual American Public Power Association National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

The board received updates on the East Salt Branch Extension project and spot repairs to road cuts for utility maintenance. The board approved members to serve on the Budget Committee for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2023. A CPR Certification Class was scheduled at the MUS warehouse, and board members were invited to attend. The Assistant General Manager took a two-week leave of absence. The board discussed allowing Mrs. Hannah Moore to enter into the OMAG Municipal Front-Line Leaders Academy and allowing Mr. Travis Whitenack and three employees from the Water Department to attend the 2022 Oklahoma Gas Association Leadership Conference.

The meeting included discussion and presentation of claims for approval. An Engineer's Report included an AMI Meter Install update, reporting on the number of AMI water meters, gas meters, and electric meters set. The transfer switch for the new generator at the Wastewater Treatment Plant was discussed, with updates on its shipment status. There was also discussion regarding compaction test results of the flow equalization basin side slopes. An agreement was discussed regarding a Bill of Sale with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company dba AT&T Oklahoma for the transfer of ownership of wood poles to the Pryor Municipal Utility Board.

The board meeting addressed various topics including a review of the quarterly report for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 funds, updates on residential development projects contingent on drainage improvements, and discussions regarding land access payments and potential cost savings for the 9th Street Lift Station Improvements and Sludge Removal Project. The board also discussed a request for reduced Whole Effluent Toxicity testing frequency, a meeting of the Budget Committee, the operational capacity of Xcaliber International, and a proposal from AT&T to transfer ownership of utility poles. Additionally, there were reports on AMI water meter readings, gas meter installations, and employee attendance at the OK Municipal HR Expo. A Status Conference was scheduled for the Declaratory Judgement Case Number CV-2024-26.
