The presentation included a five-year historical look at the hospital district's operating budget, tax rate scenarios, and the proposed routine capital budget. A representative from SEIU Texas spoke in support of wage increases in the budget for UMC, particularly increasing the minimum wage to fourteen dollars an hour.

The court acknowledged the collaborative partnership between El Paso County Juvenile Probation Department, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and El Paso del Norte Center of Hope to address human trafficking. They also recognized the work of Crime Stoppers of El Paso in partnership with law enforcement agencies and the news media to protect the anonymity of tipsters.

The meeting included discussions and resolutions regarding various topics such as recognizing National Police Week, Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Drug Court Month, and National Kids to Parks Day. The court also acknowledged the importance of supporting law enforcement, promoting outdoor activities for children, and addressing issues like drug abuse and crime through specialty courts.

Additionally, the court approved resolutions recognizing Private Marcelino CNA for his service to the country and urging his posthumous awarding of both the Texas Legislative Medal of Honor and the Medal of Honor.
