The Public Works department requested approval to purchase a used Tow-Behind Leaf Vacuum from Conewago Township for use in parks and storm drain maintenance. Administrative discussions included reviewing the 2026 scheduled meeting dates and holidays for later approval, reviewing a proposed Sign Ordinance to update traffic regulations (including speed limits and intersection rules), discussing a draft pension ordinance, addressing ongoing traffic congestion issues at Route 441/Route 23, and consulting on the handling of sidewalk repairs in the absence of specific ordinances.

The meeting addressed public comment regarding a potential unpermitted shed. Key Old Business included the conditional approval of the Preliminary/Final Subdivision & Land Development Plan for LAMARC L.P. and authorizing the preparation of an ordinance to amend the Non-Uniform Employees' Pension Plan, which reduces vesting service years from 15 to 10 without increasing Township cost. Resolution 2025-16 regarding the Drager Tract Sewage Facilities Planning Module was revisited and adopted to correct a date sequence issue requested by the Department of Environmental Protection. The Board of Supervisors meeting included a finance update, where new liens were reported and trash tags were made available at the Milanof-Shock Library. Paragon Poultry presented interest in relocating to East Donegal Township, prompting a discussion on revising the Agricultural District's allowable uses. An update was provided on a stormwater issue along Kelly Avenue, clarifying it as a non-Township responsibility. The 2025 Donegal Springs Road project was reported as complete, and updates were given on the Long Lane/441 project. The budget process is on schedule. An ordinance was reviewed, discussing speed studies on Long Lane, stop sign placement on Fuhrman Road, and the naming of the High and River Street intersection.
