The meeting included discussions and potential actions regarding a public health and wellness partners grant memorandum of agreement between Cherokee Nation and the county, pertaining to a rural development loan to the Tenkiller Utilities Authority, resolutions to apply for funds from the Cherokee Nation Road Improvement Program for asphalt overlays, approval to pay an invoice from the last fiscal year to Yellowhouse, approval of a request to open a section line, approval of requests related to the Chicken Creek Fire Department including adding an alternate to the sales tax advisory board, requesting and receiving officers, and declaring surplus equipment. Additionally, there was a presentation by Talking Leaves Job Corp, approval of a juvenile detention transportation claim, a summons, and approvals of claims, P.O.s, payroll, and budget transfers.
