The meeting agenda included the approval of the previous meeting's minutes from February 4, 2026. New business items focused on two Cook County Class 8 Incentive Requests: one from HD Developers, Inc. & 5230 Oak LLC. for 5230 W. 159th Street, which involved substantial capital improvements including a new roof and mechanical upgrades; and another from Elsayed Elbanna (Cloud Salon Suites) for 5601 Victoria Drive, involving the build-out of a former medical office. Project updates were also scheduled for discussion.

The current business reviewed the successful execution of the previous luncheon held on December 4, 2025, featuring Madrigal singers and a specific menu; a suggestion was made regarding plated desserts for future events. Planning for the January luncheon was discussed, including the entertainment (Etesian Wind Quartet) and menu. Future entertainment schedules through June were established, with Phyllis W. taking the lead as the new chairwoman. Discussions also covered maximizing advertising for luncheons, with Lori S. and Gene K. volunteering to assist with improvement ideas.

The meeting included a discussion regarding current city affairs. All commissioners reported finding no issues during their observations of various stores and businesses within the city during the current month.

The Cable Commission meeting included updates from cable companies (Comcast, Astound, A T & T), none of which had new information to report. Discussions under old business focused on the lack of received financial reports for 2025 and the need for new commission members, including a new secretary. The Oak Forest Broadcast Network is currently airing the Oak Forest Business Update and Senior Luncheon programs. No new business items were presented.
