The Attica Town Board held a Regular Town Board Meeting and a Public Hearing on the Creation of Water District. The Board Members reviewed the Abstract, the Supervisor's, and Town Clerks Reports. The supervisor discussed FEMA's changes to the flood zone parcels and authorized the purchase of a laptop for the Supervisor's office. Monthly reports and bills were approved. The fire department purchased a fire truck. The board discussed the Town Clerk's position and appointed a Deputy Clerk. Old business included discussions on the Water District, streambank funding, Attica Package's potential move, and mulching operations. The Fire District will provide a budget at a later date.

New water lines will be installed on Dunbar Rd. continuing to the West to Rt. 98, North on Rt. 98 (Creek Rd) to the Attica Village Line connecting beyond the district to village lines. ln addition, new lines from Dunbar Road will replace an existing line extending north to a point opposite prison property on Exchange St. Attica Package discussed a proposed laydown yard, mulching and compost site. The board discussed the Highway Superintendent's report, Town Clerk's correspondence, Assessors report, and Supervisor correspondence. The board also discussed the school district not being in favor of helping to pay for the costs to update the pumps for fuel access, cleaning the Gulf Rd cemetery, abandoned cemeteries, and the removal of stumps. The Town of Attica, Village of Attica, Attica Lions Club are in agreement to a mutual share in the costs of the renovations. The board also discussed the Clay Creek and Village Summer Recreation Program Contract, a solar project on Maplewood, and the Village Rent Court Room.
