The meeting addressed personnel changes in the marina office and outside operations, with new staff hired and improvements noted in departing staff's areas. Marina happenings included a comprehensive walk of the North end showing positive results from tenants, progress on the North Basin RR and laundry remodel, update of APD access cards, successful annual Ecology inspection, and interactions with a maritime class. Key infrastructure updates involved replacing the pump out station at the Central Pier and ordering a spare cart, updating signage, reducing garbage service frequency for winter, and addressing failures in new North end dock light modules due to water intrusion. Discussions covered the placement of woody debris on the beach as an environmental mitigation step for T Dock permitting, and the issue of derelict vessels anchored outside the breakwater, leading to a suggestion to lobby for a reduced anchoring time limit enforced by DNR. New business focused on congratulating a member on being elected Port Commissioner and approving new representatives for the Commercial Marine Industry, Recreational Fishing Industry, and Yacht Brokers positions. Updates from the Marine Trades included the distribution of $40,000 to local trades organizations.

This Comprehensive Plan outlines the Port of Anacortes's vision for the next twenty years, focusing on stimulating private job creation and commerce while protecting the quality of life and needs of area residents. Key strategic pillars include economic development, environmental stewardship, and public access endeavors across its diverse properties, including the Cap Sante Boat Haven Area, Guemes Channel Properties, Anacortes Airport, and Ship Harbor. The plan establishes guiding principles, land uses, and identifies potential projects to achieve its long-term goals.

The meeting covered marina happenings, including an upward trend in guest moorage, fuel sales, and RV Park usage. The Port has added a 3rd member to the security team for full time coverage. There were discussions regarding Web Locker electrical progress, the city's temporary use of the Port's parking lot, and the B-Dock GFI retrofit. An update was provided on the A-dock permit process and issues with T-dock's surface. There was a discussion about the MAC's role and communication with the Port regarding projects. The committee also appointed officers for Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary.

The meeting included updates on marina happenings such as seasonal staff performance, ABAY attendance, DNR reporting, Web Locker asphalt and striping, PSE charging stations, safety ladders, dock light refit, electric meter replacement project, winter schedules, pump out services, fuel truck access route, painting projects, marine trades meetings, umbrellas for picnic tables, crab gauges, San Juan ferry service, summer concert assistance, quarterly WL inspections, power outage, and crab trailer counts. Marina and facility updates covered the West and North basin remodel, T Dock permits and design. New business included the introduction of the new Executive Director, the need to fill the Yacht Broker Representative position, discussions on parking solutions, and security gates. A recommendation was made for the installation of gates on every pier, open during the day but closed at night.
