Key initiatives include increasing student proficiency in ELA and math, decreasing chronic absenteeism, enhancing staff attendance and morale through wellness sessions, and implementing strategic teaching models with tiered instruction. The plan also emphasizes tracking student progress through MTSS, providing remediation and enrichment, and engaging parents through events and surveys.

Westview Elementary School's strategic plan for 2024-2025 focuses on several key initiatives to enhance student success and school culture. The plan includes implementing a strategic teaching model with tiered instruction, a school-wide focus on standards-based instruction across all content areas, and monthly professional learning communities for teachers. Additionally, it aims to provide daily intervention to struggling students, ensure writing across disciplines, and improve overall school culture by maintaining attendance, mitigating negative behavior, and continuing parental involvement and staff morale. The overarching vision is to pursue excellence on behalf of every student.

The Lakewood Primary School ACIP for 2024-2025 aims to improve school culture and climate and increase academic growth and achievement in reading and math. Key strategies include addressing behavior concerns through the MTSS process, implementing Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to support teacher learning, hosting parenting events to increase knowledge of academic and behavior curriculum, and engaging in the system's/state's MTSS process and interventions to address the individual needs of students related to growth.

The board meeting included approval of financial reports, personnel actions (appointments, transfers, leaves of absence, resignations, and retirements), the purchase of hand-held thermal scanners, a board policy revision, and the declaration of surplus vehicles. A superintendent's report was also given.
