Population projections within the plan extend to 2040.

The City of Omak's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan provides a comprehensive roadmap for the development and management of its park system over the next six years. The plan aims to enhance attractive open spaces and facilities for sports, wellness, and nature, with a focus on the Okanogan River and promoting walking and bicycling. Key priorities include continued development of Eastside Park, improving river access, enhancing neighborhood parks, ensuring park safety and family-friendliness, increasing walkability, fostering community partnerships, replacing aging facilities, and securing funding for capital improvements. The overall vision is to foster community involvement and healthy lifestyles through well-maintained and utilized local parks.

Discussions included the correction of a PUD bill error, resulting in a credit balance. Activities for Library Week were noted. An attendee reported on insights gained from the Public Library Association Conference regarding post-Covid services and library security, and the development of a standardized policy for patron infractions was mentioned. The library is implementing weekly computer assistance hours on Wednesdays. Bills for services including mat cleaning, supplies, power, and utilities were presented for approval.
