The meeting included the appointment of the Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2021, as well as the appointment of a Harmar Water Authority Board Member and Chairman of Vacancy Board for 2021. Public comments addressed the need for park renovations and the potential for a dog park. The board discussed an emergency management report, including the Allegheny County Migration Plan, and a COVID-19 update. They also discussed field usage agreements between Harmar Township and local sports organizations, approved an increase to the Non-Uniform Pension Plan, and approved resolutions for the Hazard Mitigation Plan Update and field usage agreements. Additionally, they approved the exoneration of the Tax Collector from collecting delinquent taxes, a proposal for collecting large refuse items, the police vacation schedule, and the purchase of rock salt.

The meeting included a presentation on land development applications for a two-tenant retail building and a drive-through ATM. Discussions covered COVID-19 case updates, vaccination clinic locations, and changes to the fee schedule. The board discussed a CITF grant application for paving Dremmel Road and suggestions for a DCNR Small Projects Grant, including upgrades to Acme Park. The board also discussed old business items and new business, including an updated fee schedule and lease agreements for the Harmar Soccer Club and the Lower Valley Little League.
