Furthermore, the board approved several employment appointments for principals at two elementary schools and an automotive teacher at the Winston Career Academy.

The board meeting involved the review and approval of financial statements and detailed expenditures for the month of April 2026. Key personnel actions were finalized, including non-renewals for educational staff, the termination of a service employee due to job abandonment, and the processing of several resignations. Additionally, the board approved various staffing changes such as internal transfers and new hires for teaching positions across multiple elementary and high schools, as well as the appointment of new bus drivers. Payroll dates for the remainder of 2026 and through mid-2027 were also established.
