This document outlines a project to construct a new, state-of-the-art shooting range facility for Gretna Gun Works. This Fishery Management Plan for Louisiana Red Drum aims to ensure the long-term conservation and sustainable use of the Red Drum resource, providing environmental, social, and economic benefits to Louisiana. The plan comprehensively details the biology and status of the Red Drum stock, analyzes recreational and historic commercial fisheries, assesses ecosystem effects and environmental influences, and outlines state and regional management approaches. It establishes long-term goals and objectives, identifies ongoing management issues, and proposes recommendations for future research to prevent overfishing and maintain a viable and sustainable Red Drum population.

The White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area Master Plan addresses growing ecological and infrastructure challenges to preserve biodiversity and enhance resilience. It outlines four long-term strategies: implementing coastal restoration projects, revitalizing The Lodge and island facilities, developing revenue generation initiatives, and establishing partnerships for long-term sustainability. The plan aims to ensure the area remains accessible and beneficial for future generations, inspiring them to value and protect Louisiana's natural resources.

The meeting agenda included the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call, and introduction of guests. Key discussion points covered the Treasury Report, including the LOTF Financial Report and Oyster Tag Sales, followed by reports from various committees: Public and Private Oyster Grounds, Enforcement, Legislative, Legal, Research, Coastal Restoration, Marketing, Health, Aquaculture, and the Joint Task Force Working Group. New business focused on updates regarding the current oyster season from LDWF, discussion and potential funding consideration for a proposal from SeaD Consulting regarding seafood testing, discussion concerning the Salmonella outbreak in oysters with LDH, officer elections, and discussion of LSU research publication on new forecasting models for Vibrio vulnificus.

The Technical Advisory Board meeting included a call to order, attendance check, and approval of the agenda and previous meeting minutes. The board discussed and ranked full applications for various projects, including the Hopedale Recreational Fishing Complex, Enhancing Wood Duck Habitat in Pearl River WMA, Napoleonville Bayou Access and Emergency Boat Launch Project, Enhancing Mottled Duck Breeding Habitat in Southwest Louisiana, Bayou L'Ours Phase V Terraces, Lake Villa Pond Recreation Enhancement Project, Enhancing Access and Ecology in Lafayette's Urban Forest Trails, Addressing data needs to increase aquatic connectivity and promote recreation in the Calcasieu River Basin, Louisiana, Lake Providence Sport Fish Habitat Conservation and Enhancement, Jean Lafitte Wetland Trace Beautification Project, Too Much Tallow, Beechwood-Bayou Sara Tunica Hills Protection, and Caroline Dormon Ecological Stewardship Project. The approved rankings were averaged. There were no public comments. The meeting adjourned at 9:16 am.
