The Carroll County School District's five-year strategic plan, spanning from 2026 to 2030, is designed to provide each student with a safe, supportive, and academically rich environment, preparing them for success in college, career, and life. The plan prioritizes five key areas: ensuring safe, healthy, and orderly schools, fostering student achievement, cultivating effective teaching and learning environments, increasing community and family engagement, and managing district resources responsibly. Its overarching vision is to ensure all students are prepared for the next level, embodying the belief that every child can learn and thrive.

The board meeting agenda includes the review and approval of several administrative and operational items, such as the Annual Legislative Policy Update, an amendment for food service operations, credit card and line of credit authorizations, and various partnership agreements with Mississippi Action for Progress, Inc. Additionally, the agenda covers the approval of student medical insurance coverage, therapy service proposals, safety and instructional plans for J.Z. George High School, and various district-level handbooks and manuals. Financial items, personnel recommendations, student transfer requests, and a forestry work plan for sixteenth section lands are also included for consideration.
