The Task Force seeks the BHV Trustees' approval of the motion to approve the process to Deter Unauthorized Use of Barton Hills Roads by Motorized Vehicles and the first reading of the recommended amendments to Chapter 24. The BHV Board of Trustees must amend Chapter 24 of Village Code "Road Use Restrictions". The process includes capturing a vehicle entering and exiting the Village in 7 minutes or less via BHMC's security cameras, sending warning letters to the vehicle owner, and providing BHV with documentation of Chapter 24 Road Usage violation.

The Board of Trustees meeting included the election of officers and assignment of committee chairs. A resident encouraged establishing a task force for input on a fence potentially installed by the City of Ann Arbor. The BHMC President invited residents to a Road Safety Town Hall. The Treasurer's report was provided, and the FY2024-25 audit was discussed, with the auditor scheduled to present on December 8, 2025. The Planning Commission was requested to explore revising accessory structures. An application for a Geothermal System Permit was approved. The Water Committee reviewed a draft of the State-required Water Reliability Study. The Halloween Trolley event was well-attended. The addition of "Documents on Demand" to the BHV website was discussed. A resolution to Deter Unauthorized Use of Barton Hills Roads by Motorized Vehicles was tabled until the December 8, 2025 meeting. An amendment to Chapter 24 of the Village Code "Road Use Restrictions" was approved. A pilot program with Great Lakes Security/Signal was approved to deter unauthorized persons from restricted use of the privately-owned roads.
