The 2017-2021 Strategic Plan for the Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) focuses on empowering families and communities to achieve economic self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. Key areas of focus include program development aligned with community needs and sustainable funding; active board engagement in driving organizational priorities and fundraising; and addressing unmet community needs such as employment services, housing improvements, food access, childcare, early childhood education, and financial literacy. The plan utilizes a Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) format based on six National Community Action Goals, aiming to improve family and individual self-reliance, enhance community conditions, and strengthen ACAP's capacity as a service provider, advocate, and community partner. The plan emphasizes a two/multi-generational approach to service delivery, data-driven decision-making, and strong partnerships to achieve these goals.
