Discussions covered change orders for high school renovations, budget transfers, bus schedules, a new health and safety plan, and a service agreement for school psychology services. The board also discussed student mental health, a video shown to 8th-grade students, and the York County School of Technology budget.
The meeting focused on the revised Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan and the Northeastern Bobcat Cyber Academy. Public comments included concerns about the safety of reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, suggestions for improving communication with students and parents, and concerns about the accessibility of the cyber academy for working parents.
