The meeting included reports on the spring musical, Mary Poppins, and various winter and upcoming spring sports seasons. Concerns about the district's swimming program were addressed, and the airing of Brain Busters on TV was noted.

The meeting included presentations on Bobcat Cyber Academy feedback and K-8 learning environment questionnaire results. Discussion included extra/co-curricular opportunities, current BCA participation, and achievement, as well as adjustments to BCA Hybrid in grades 4-8 and consideration of K-3 BCA. An achievement/learning loss update was requested for a future meeting, and an updated assessment system was presented for approval, along with additional information about high school social studies courses.

The Academic Affairs Committee reviewed achievement data, a new course request for Entrepreneurship (to replace Business Law and supplement Sports and Event Management), and a new textbook request for Meteorology Today. Discussion included realignment of high school science courses to allow flexibility in Chemistry course scheduling and adding a January committee meeting. The committee recommended approval of the new course, textbook, and additional meeting.

The meeting included reports on student expulsions, building and grounds maintenance, high school renovations, finance and personnel matters (accounts payable, resignations, retirements, leaves of absence, appointments, and transfers), athletics and activities, legislative matters, and foundation updates. Discussions covered change orders for high school renovations, budget transfers, bus schedules, a new health and safety plan, and a service agreement for school psychology services. The board also discussed student mental health, a video shown to 8th-grade students, and the York County School of Technology budget.

The meeting focused on the revised Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan and the Northeastern Bobcat Cyber Academy. Public comments included concerns about the safety of reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, suggestions for improving communication with students and parents, and concerns about the accessibility of the cyber academy for working parents. The board approved the revised Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan.
