The Amber Township Election Commission meeting included the tabulator program testing and security certification. Tabulator two was tested and prepared for the August 5, 2025 Special Election. The appointment of election inspectors for the August 5, 2025 Special Election was also addressed, along with the appointment of the Chairperson and Receiving Board.
The Amber Township Board meeting included discussions and actions on several key areas. The board approved the Investment and Depository Policy Resolution. There was an update on the NextEra Energy project, with plans to begin in the spring of 2026. The board discussed the possibility of appointing a township representative for the Mason County Multi-Use Trails Segment 4 and reviewed the township's marijuana ordinance, deciding to maintain the existing ordinance. Additionally, the board members explored ways to enhance meeting effectiveness based on insights from an MTA academy.

The Amber Township Board had a planning session to discuss the future of Amber Township. Topics included establishing a transfer station for recycling and brush disposal, extending the Meyer Road sewer, continuing investment in Township roads, tire recycling options, and managing growth along the US-10 corridor to increase the township tax base.
