The committee discussed and approved a parental leave request for a special education teacher. Leave requests and tuition reimbursements for faculty, administration, and staff were also discussed and approved. Additionally, the appointment of a Berks County School District Health Trust Management Representative was addressed. The meeting included discussions on possible additional new hires, such as an Elementary School Counselor, Paraprofessionals, a Long-term Substitute Paraprofessional, a Crossing Guard, and a Custodian for the High School.

The Budget and Finance Committee meeting included discussions regarding the 2024-25 audit by Barbacane, Thornton & Company LLP, an agreement with Sweet, Stevens, Katz & Williams LLP for representation of public educational entities effective July 1, 2026, and the ratification and approval of KidsPeace, Orefield Campus, to provide tutorial services for a high school special education student. Additionally, information was presented on River Rock Placements, detailing the number of students at River Rock Amity & Sinking Spring as of November 30, 2025.

The meeting included discussions and approvals for a volunteer coach for JH Boys' Basketball and a paid assistant coach for HS Girls' Basketball, pending receipt of required documentation. It also covered the approval of extended season pay for fall sports coaches in Girls' Tennis, Cross Country, Boys' Soccer, Golf, and Girls' Soccer for the 2025-26 school year. The meeting also included public comment and adjournment.

The Curriculum Committee meeting included discussions on federal programs, math curriculum for K-7, math grade 8 resources, and new high school courses for the 2026-27 school year. New courses included Horror Genre, Automotive & Motorsport Technology, Sports Tactics, Coaching, and Officiating in Physical Education, Advanced Placement Statistics, and Advanced Placement Physics C: Mechanics.

The meeting included the certification of election results, oath of office for school directors, and the election of officers, including the President and Vice President. The board approved the schedule for regular monthly meetings and committee meetings for the upcoming year. Appointments were made for committees and chairpersons, as well as representatives for the Berks Tax Collection Committee, PSBA Legislative meeting, and Berks Earned Income Tax.
