The Commission discussed several agenda items including a public comment regarding potential tax revenue from a Navy hangar project. Presentations were received concerning the historic preservation of the Navy hangar for use by Merlin Labs and a proposed mini-forest project at the Job Lane property funded by Carleton-Willard Village. Additional topics included the upcoming Annual Town Meeting warrant regarding tax deferral bylaws for historic properties, the potential replacement of Old Town Line signs, publicity for the house plaques program, plans for a history tour for the Hidden Treasures program, and the status of ethics training for commission members.

The commission reviewed the status of the revolving fund and the athletic fields fund, including upcoming increases in processing fees and field renovation strategies. Discussion topics included a community proposal for installing AEDs at local fields, an update on summer program staffing and training, and the approval of a tent rental. The commission also reviewed project updates at Springs Brook Park and current space planning efforts, expressed interest in utilizing the old fire station for a community recreation space, and coordinated on miscellaneous facilities and programming tasks, including a grant application for a water wheelchair.

The commission reviewed the status of demolition delay applications and properties, discussed a tax deferral bylaw for historic renovations to be presented at the Annual Town Meeting, and investigated the potential replacement of historical town line signage. Updates were provided on committee liaisons for the Community Preservation Committee and Tricentennial Committee. Operational items included addressing email routing for the board, municipal property maintenance at the Job Lane Farm Museum, ethics training requirements for members, and planning community outreach initiatives such as the Hidden Treasures program.

The board heard a petition regarding a property at 11 Hayden Lane. The applicant sought a Special Permit for a home addition and a Variance for an overhang within the front yard setback. The board held a public hearing, after which they approved the Special Permit for the addition. The Variance portion of the request was continued to a later date.
