The commission addressed several departmental matters. The Road Department received approval for a budget increase for pipe purchases and various personnel adjustments. The County Engineer was authorized to award contracts for the CR-159 Bridge Replacement Project and the CR-173 Resurfacing Project. The Jail department's extensive personnel changes, including terminations, promotions, transfers, and new hires, were approved. Additionally, the Council on Aging had a personnel hiring request approved, and the commission authorized the renewal of the Rural Public Transportation application and associated resolutions.

The Commission addressed several operational and administrative matters, including road maintenance updates and personnel changes in the Road, Jail, and Council on Aging departments. A resurfacing bid for the intersection of CR-212 and CR-209 was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, and a resolution was adopted to lower the speed limit on a portion of CR-441. The Commission approved an updated federal contract with the United States Marshals Service that increased daily and transport rates. Additionally, a proclamation recognizing Alabama Extension Week was signed, a Strategic Economic Development Plan was endorsed, and a request to proceed with a bid for a courthouse elevator upgrade was authorized. Finally, the Commission handled a board appointment for the CED Board and acknowledged the successful efforts of the annual Spring Clean-Up.

Key items included the vacation of a portion of CR 238, a speed limit resolution for CR 685, and approval of a $200,000 funding agreement with the State DOT for paving at Buck's Pocket State Park. The Commission awarded the Rebuild Alabama bituminous surface treatment bid and approved a 60-month agreement for the P25 Project telephone lines. Additionally, they received an update on the Guardianship Program, made an appointment to the Adamsburg Fire Department Board, and approved an amended MOU with the Fire Association regarding the Tower Bid project.
