The Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Village of Bosque Farms provides planning strategies and policies to guide future development, ensuring consistency with citizen intent. The plan, created in 2023, is currently under review by Village staff, with upcoming workshops planned with the Governing Body and Zoning Commission to ensure it remains current and responsive to community needs and desires.

The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting included a review of previous minutes, action on property line adjustments for Sunflower Avenue, and consideration of an RV conditional use permit for Eldorado Loop. A public hearing was opened and closed for a fence variance on Pearl Loop, with a recommendation to be provided to the Village Council. Departmental reports were presented, and the commission discussed traffic issues on Mitchell and Morrison Drive, potential ordinance updates, and a contract renewal with UWS. The inspection of a property on Truchas Trail was requested, and updates were given on meetings with Prodigy builders and training for the Water & Wastewater crew. Tort claims filed in June and the installation of a sound modem on traffic lights were also discussed. Finally, properties that pulled permits in June and a proposed development on McNew Road were reviewed.

The item was tabled for three months to allow the owner to make significant progress or propose a mitigation plan. Additionally, the monthly report was given.
