The budget estimates include allocations for various funds, departments, and categories within the Vincennes Community School Corporation. Key areas of focus include rainy day funds, debt service, education (regular, special, and summer school programs), remediation programs, support services for students and instruction, school administration, central office operations, maintenance of buildings and grounds, vehicle maintenance, security services, insurance, student transportation, community service operations, and building acquisition and construction. Budgeted items encompass personnel services, employee benefits, supplies, services and charges, and capital outlays.

The board meeting included the reorganization of the board, with Len Bobe becoming the new board president. Karen Bible's resignation was accepted. Braden Brown was hired to replace Mr. Rudolph at the high school in special education. Coach Brandon Foff rejoined baseball as an assistant coach. The board signed off on a conflict of interest and reviewed new policies and procedures. They also approved housekeeping items, including resolutions to transfer funds and a second Clinic's docket. The board discussed investments and fiscal indicators with German American.

Recognition was given to LALC employees of the month, Jeanette Johnson and Savannah Tedrow, as well as students who participated in the Future Chefs competition. A presentation was given on the summer feeding program. Employee recognition was given to Renae Wild from Franklin Elementary for her heroic actions, Parker Newman from Tecumseh-Harrison as Educator of the Year, Tricia Hall from CMS as assistant principal of the year, and Chief Aaron Luce as Public Servant of the Year. The board discussed and made decisions on items such as the Orientation and Mobility contract, Parallel Psych contract, preschool services, textbook expenditures, policy revisions, public transfer acceptance, and fund transfers. The board also considered a land purchase for playground expansion and awarded bids for the LHS Culinary Arts project.
