The board addressed the results of the budget vote and trustee election, formally approving the 2025-2026 school budget. Additionally, the board entered into an executive session to deliberate on matters concerning the employment of an individual, followed by a return to regular session and subsequent adjournment.

The Board approved the 2016/2017 estimated administrative budget for the Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). Additionally, the Board cast votes for three candidates to serve as trustees for the Southern Westchester BOCES for the 2016-2019 term.

The board conducted a workshop to present and discuss the preliminary 2011-2012 budget, providing an opportunity for community feedback. Additionally, the board entered an executive session to discuss a specific personnel matter.

The Board of Education convened to announce the results of the 2016-2017 Budget Vote and Trustee Election, which included the passage of the school budget, the establishment of a Capital Reserve Fund, and the election of two trustees. The Board also approved the implementation of an Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) evaluation system for submission to the State Education Department. Additional actions included the approval of a Memorandum of Agreement with the Elmsford Teachers Association for Registered Nurses, and the awarding of construction bids for the Alexander Hamilton JR/SR High School roof project and ventilation/infrastructure projects at Alice E. Grady Elementary School and Carl L. Dixson Primary School. The board also conducted an executive session to discuss personnel appointments and contract negotiations.

The Board conducted a special meeting involving executive sessions to discuss employment history and appointment matters. Financial actions included the approval of a budget transfer. Personnel recommendations were addressed, including amendments to and the rescission of principal appointments at Alexander Hamilton Jr/Sr High School, as well as the appointment of an interim principal. Additionally, the Board approved appointments for substitute positions, a long-term leave replacement teacher, and received a superintendent's update regarding policy reviews, safety planning, and future board retreat scheduling.
