Resolutions were approved to execute LSA Grant applications for Community Center plumbing/HVAC upgrades and a Green Light Go Grant for a traffic light upgrade at Market & 10th Streets. The contract for the Williamson Field Rain Garden was awarded to Delaware Environment Construction Service. Authorization was given for the design of the Walnut Street project. The Police Chief received authorization to apply for Vest-a-cop and Patrick Leah Bulletproof Vest Partnership grants, and Henry Sancken, Jr. was hired as a Part-time crossing guard. The Council chose not to endorse the MHFD LSA Grant Application due to missing information and timing issues. The Park & Recreation Board sought to reduce its required membership from nine to seven members, and an ordinance to advertise this change was approved.
