A public hearing to approve the Annual and Five-Year Reportable Fees Report for Fiscal Year 2024/2025 will be held. Information regarding the report is available upon request. Parents, teachers, members of the community, and bargaining unit leaders are encouraged to participate in the hearing.

The 2025-26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for McCabe Union Elementary School District focuses on providing high-quality classroom instruction and curriculum to advance academic achievement, decrease achievement gaps, and promote college and career readiness for all students. Key priorities include implementing targeted academic interventions, enhancing professional development for teachers, and strengthening parent and family engagement. The plan addresses the needs of English Learners, students with disabilities, foster youth, and low-income students through strategic actions and equitable resource allocation, with an emphasis on monitoring and promoting academic progress and creating a safe and supportive school climate.

The McCabe Union Elementary School District's 2025-26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) focuses on enhancing academic achievement and fostering positive learning environments. Key priorities include providing high-quality classroom instruction, reducing achievement gaps for socioeconomically disadvantaged students and English learners, and promoting students' social-emotional and physical well-being. The plan outlines strategies such as professional development for teachers, targeted interventions, parent involvement, and supplemental programs to support student success and create a safe, inclusive school climate.

The meeting will include updates on the school safety plan, emergency preparedness drills, support services (counseling, music, ELO-P), the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and the District-Level English Advisory Committee (DELAC). Discussions will also cover achievement monitoring (California Dashboard, CAASPP ICA, ICA & iReady Diagnostics), parent involvement (sports, spring open house, McCabe News Live Year in Review, field trips, and promotion).

The School Site Council (SSC) meeting covered updates on the School Safety Plan, including the results of a recent earthquake and evacuation drill. Counseling services and the McCabe Career Day were also discussed, along with updates on the music program and the upcoming summer ELO-P program. The meeting included an LCAP/SPSA update, which involved input from various stakeholders and a plan for presentation and approval by the school board. An EL update discussed progress on the Summative ELPAC and reclassification. Finally, reports were given on MUESD progress monitoring, attendance, and various school events, including the Spring Open House and end-of-year activities.
