The commission discussed janitorial service quotes, the airport resurface change order, a request to redo lighting at the library, a mural on Marsh Street, and a Land Bank Ordinance. An executive session was held to discuss confidential financial data, followed by a motion to spend funds on the water PAK. Commissioner comments included welcoming the new commissioner.

The airport resurface project is set to restart in April.

The Kinsley City Commission held a regular meeting where they discussed various topics. Adjustments were made to the agenda, and the minutes from the previous meeting were approved. The commission discussed issues related to a creek permit and the cleaning of Coon Creek. A request was made to discuss a code enforcement letter regarding pigs in a backyard, and the commission considered a tree board planting Burr Oaks at Baugher Park. The Land Bank Organization Meeting was also discussed, and officers were elected. The commission discussed a water connection fee and a Main Street two-way ordinance. The lights in the event center have been changed out, the room painted and looking better. The flooring in the event center and the kitchen was also discussed.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on various city matters. The commission reviewed demolition bids and accepted a bid from Eakin Enterprises. They also discussed janitorial service quotes and decided to extend the ad period for additional quotes. A Cereal Malt Beverage license request for Romano's Pizza & EZ Stop was approved. The commission addressed the collapse of a mural on Marsh Street and discussed a catastrophic water bill request, leading to the adoption of a catastrophic water bill policy. Additionally, officers were elected, the official newspaper and depository were designated, and a commissioner resigned.

The meeting addressed traffic concerns during road construction, including the possibility of making Main Street a two-way street temporarily. The commission discussed the donation of a half-acre to the City of Kinsley, a KDHE report on contamination, and a survey and appraisal by SMH consultants. They also considered a Walk Kansas K-State Research and Extension program, a request from Kinsley High School After Prom, and the Ladies League Easter Egg Hunt. Code enforcement responsibilities were reviewed, and the board discussed Baugher Park irrigation and a Verisk (ISO) Code Effectiveness Study. The City also received an $11,147 grant for the fire fighters.
