The council meeting addressed various administrative and municipal matters including the payment of city and water department bills, review of monthly departmental reports, and the authorization of a formal agreement with TXDOT regarding the closure of state right-of-way areas. Additionally, the agenda included discussions on street closures for upcoming events, grant funding updates for water lines and community development, budget amendments, water and sewer service rate ordinances, and appraisal district budget reviews. The City Council will hold a regular monthly meeting to discuss and potentially approve various items, including monthly reports for city and water departments, a food truck operation, property annexation, a water line grant, a community block grant update, an ordinance on peddlers and solicitors, the cancellation of a non-contested election, tree trimming bids, the setup of a bank account for water payments, a contract for effluent distribution, the old water office, and other potential actions following an executive session.

The City Council meeting will include a public hearing for a Texas Community Development Block Grant, discussion and approval of monthly reports for city and water departments, a report from the Sheriff's office, discussion of a water line grant, water and sewer rates, an ordinance for occupying property, an update on HOP/Carr transportation services, discussion of the old water office and an HVAC bid, a mayor's report, and an executive session to discuss employee compensation and pay schedules.
