The plan aims to address current and future drainage challenges, ensuring effective water management and resilience for the community.

The meeting included several public hearings and reviews regarding zoning requests and site plans. Zoning agenda items involved multiple requests for re-zoning properties from agricultural and residential classifications to commercial or different residential densities. Planning agenda items included the review and approval of preliminary and final site plans for various developments, including the DEMCO facility, The Cotten House, B3J Properties at Pointe of Isle, Transmission Service Connection, Hey Sis Boutique, the South Live Oak Elementary multi-purpose building, the Juban Road small event venue, and a 4-H club facility.

The Commission conducted several public hearings and reviews regarding land use and development projects. Key approvals included the final site plans for Dutch Bros, Colyell Community Water Well, On the Geaux Buildings, S & E Heating & Air, Electrical & Generator Co., LLC, and C & C RV & Boat Storage. Additionally, the Commission approved a conditional use request for a snowball stand, a servitude revocation for River Pines Plantation, and a preliminary plat for North Park Residences. The session also included discussions on future trends for conditional use requests and mechanisms for tracking density in property developments.

The Commission conducted public hearings and approved several re-zoning requests: Case #26-28 to re-zone parcel #0096065 from R-1 to C-1, Case #26-29 to re-zone parcel #0182485 from C/I to R-1, Case #26-30 to re-zone parcel #0142745 from R-1 to AG, and Case #26-31 to re-zone parcel #0187666 from R-1 to MHP.
